This two-day adventure tour will become one of the most memorable experiences of your life, offering you the opportunity to enjoy historical sites, marvel at nature’s wonders, and savor the delightful flavors of Armenian wines.

 

Day 1:

We’ll begin our journey with a visit to Khor Virap Monastery. Khor Virap is known for its historical significance as the site where Saint Gregory the Illuminator was imprisoned in a deep pit for 13 years. From here, we’ll enjoy an exceptional view of Mount Ararat, a breathtaking sight perfect for both photography and admiration.

Next, we’ll head to the village of Areni in Vayots Dzor. Here, an extraordinary experience awaits us. Discover the wonders of Areni 1 cave, home to the world’s oldest wine remnants and the renowned Areni grape celebrated for its unique taste and aroma. This ancient site not only boasts the oldest winemaking facility, dating back 6000 years, but also houses the world’s oldest leather shoe, crafted over 5500 years ago.

We’ll visit Noravank Monastery, known for its unique architecture and the red cliffs that surround it. This beautiful monastery, with its stunning views and tranquility, will captivate you.

Our next stop will be Zorats Karer, an ancient observatory where you’ll feel the spirit of past centuries.

We can organize lunch with one of the local wine factories,with wine tasting.By enjoying the exquisite flavors of Armenian wine, you’ll understand why Armenia is famed for its winemaking heritage.

At the end of the day, we’ll rest in a comfortable hotel in Goris, allowing you to rejuvenate for the next day’s adventures.

 

Day 2:

Our second day will begin with a visit to Old Khndzoresk. Here, you’ll walk across a swinging bridge and explore the wonders of the cave dwellings, transporting you deep into history.

Next, we’ll take the Wings of Tatev aerial tramway, the longest in the world, which will lift us up to Tatev Monastery. Founded in the 9th century, Tatev Monastery is the spiritual center of Syunik and one of the most important educational and cultural centers of medieval Armenia. The monastery stands out for its beautiful architecture and the picturesque landscapes surrounding it, creating an unmatched spiritual atmosphere.

Inspired and fulfilled by these sights, we’ll have lunch with a view.You’ll delight in the rich flavors of the local dishes, complemented by Armenian hospitality.

After our visit, we’ll proceed to Shaki Waterfall, where the beauty of nature will astonish you with its captivating views.

Finally, we’ll return to Yerevan, bringing back new memories that will accompany us for a lifetime.
