During these two days, you’ll experience aesthetic pleasure from the picturesque views of mountains and vineyards, wine cellars, and art cafes. You’ll also participate in a gata-making master class  and enjoy the tour at the Ethnographical museum.

Furthermore, you’ll have the opportunity to engage in a “wine talk” and wine tasting with a winemaker right at his home! What could be better?!

Itinerary
Day 1

Welcome to the first day of your exclusive aesthetic wine tour!
We will start our trip in the morning and drive to Aragatsotn  region, where grape grows since ancient times. Our first stop is “Amberd Fortress”, one of the oldest standing fortresses in Armenia.
Next stop is at the Wine History Museum of Armenia, which is probably the only museum where you can walk around with a glass of wine! We promise that this place will leave you at awe! Next, We’ll have an impressive wine tour and a wine tasting at one of the leading wineries of Armenia.
Afterwards the most aesthetic part is waiting for us! We’ll visit the Ethnographical Museum and Art Cafe. Here you’ll learn a lot about Armenian traditions and customs, national costumes and jewelry!
Afterwards you’ll have a Gata-making workshop and a delicious lunch!
After lunch we’ll drive to one of the most exclusive winery’s founder’s house, where you’ll have a wine talk and a wine tasting with the founder and winemaker himself.
We are sure everything is better with a glass of wine!

Day 2
We will start the second day of our journey with a beautiful road trip to Lake Sevan. Our route to the renowned cheese farm will run alongside the lake, offering mesmerizing views of the water and the surrounding mountains as we approach the village of Noratus. At the cheese farm, a heartwarming family business, we’ll hear the inspiring story of their dream and how they turned it into reality. And, of course, the best part awaits – a delightful tasting session of their exquisite cheeses and homemade meat products.  

This is only the beginning of an exciting day! As you are in Armenia we will not let you go without tasting a true Armenian Brandy the right way! You wonder how? We’ll show!

After this exciting experience we are going to head to the most important wine region of Armenia, to Vayots Dzor, the homeland of the famous Armenian endemic grape variety Areni.
Our first stop at this region  is Orbelian’s Caravanserai, a 14th-century marvel, that served as a vital resting place for Silk Road travelers and their caravans.
Our next stop will be at the amazing Noravank Monastery. But wait, our adventure doesn’t end here! We simply can’t let you leave this canyon without experiencing something extraordinary. Get ready to explore “the oldest winery” in the world called Areni 1 by the archeologists!
Now the most exciting part of the tour! We are going to participate in the grape collecting process in vineyards and take beautiful photos!
Finally it’s time for wine tasting and lunch! With every sip of wine, you’ll savor a symphony of unique tastes, paired with locally sourced eco-products, creating an unforgettable culinary experience during lunch.
